What's Cooking at Bloomingdale's?

The couple who cooks together, stays together, right? The Bloomingdale's Bridal Registry at Tyson's Corner is presenting "Cooking Couples" next month. Join Bloomingdale's culinary expert Andrew Moran as he teaches newly engaged and newly married couples the delicious secrets of culinary arts and the essentials of completing their new kitchen.


The event takes place on Thursday February 11th and Thursday February 18th on Level 3 of the store at 7:00 pm. As this is an intimate event, seating is limited so be sure to call 703.556.4640 for your reservation for one of the dates above.

Bridal Event of the Year

Dressing Your Man

So many of the grooms and groomsmen these days are opting for a suit as their wedding attire instead of a tuxedo. We just got notice of this sale at one of our favorite stores Joseph Bank. The service and quality offered at the various store locations is always wonderful. Also, we recently read that Bank will begin carrying rental tuxedos soon too.

Restaurant Find

According to my sister who is a great cook, this restaurant in Harford County has the best food ever. Located at 939 Beards Hill Road in Aberdeen (just off I-95), the restaurant serves traditional American food and is owned by Brenda Weber. She named the restaurant after her grandmother and serves food like grandma made. It is a reasonable priced too. I couldn't find a website for them but you'll find reviews on line with a search.
