Courtney + Brian: The (Rockin') Reception

The phrase "the best" was used a lot during Courtney and Brian's wedding reception. Of course the setting was one of Baltimore's best venues, The Walters Art Museum. Once one gets past all the rules and regulations that are the norm at museums, there is the most gorgeous Sculpture Court complete with amazing architecture and sculptures. Even though we have planned so many weddings in this venue, it never gets old. No matter what floor plan is used or what color flowers accent the space, it is always breath-taking.

The first group of photos here were taken by Kakki Morrison. She is a floral designer at Romance of Flowers and captured these images before the guests arrived.
The bridal table for all the wedding party and their guests...

A photo album of the bride and groom's NYC engagement photos was placed on the escort table and guests were invited to write a wedding day note to the couple.
Sugar Bakers did a wonderful wedding cake design. Delicious too.

The following photos were images captured by David Mielcarek at Cinematic by David M.

Let the party begin...
The first dance...

This is my favorite photo. The bride and groom at their table during the speeches. Sweet.

Some details...
Sweet father/daughter dance. One of my all time favorite bands, The Joker's Wild played for the wedding reception. If you are looking for "not just another wedding band", you must check them out. I have been working with band leader Vince for many years and he never disappoints. The band has charm, charisma, talent, a different look, are versatile and best of all they are kind and so great to work with. They were able to play such a wide range of requests: "Everything" by Michael Buble for the first dance, Heartland's "I Loved Her First" for the father/daughter dance, and Stevie Wonder's "Sunshine of My Life". Every request we made was answered with "yes we do that too". Love that.

Both generations of the wedding party were on the dance floor.

Congratulations Courtney and Brian. I am so happy you had the BEST time at your wedding. You were wonderful clients and you are wonderful people. BEST wishes for a happy, happy marriage.
